Background

As former D1 athletes, we have first-hand experience with the benefits that ice baths have on physical recovery, athletic performance, and overall mental well-being. After our time at Texas State University, we became obsessed with the benefits of daily ice baths - we filled bathtubs with ice, rigged DIY freezers, and ultimately looked online for cold plunge options. We quickly learned of the lack of affordable options out there, so we set out to create our own. Enter, Havin' a Cold one...

Our Mission

Our cold plunge journey is not unique to us, and many of you reading this have had similar experiences. Havin’ a Cold One was literally “formed out of our garage” when we set out on a mission to find a solution to our 'ice problem'. We’re honored to now bring that solution to You. Our mission is to improve the quality and access to cold plunges and spread the good word of cold water therapy to everyone we encounter.

Our Future

At Havin' a Cold One, we believe everyone has a moral duty and obligation to take care of their physical and mental health. Afterall, how can you expect to take care of anyone else if you can't first take care of yourself? Our goal is to better serve our community and improve the lives of those around us through natural remedies. We will continue to improve our product and brand, with an extreme focus on quality, access, and education to all. Rest assured - we're just getting started.
